Course Preparation Document This document contains detailed instructions on preparing a computer lab to teach with this book. Background Knowledge Survey This document allows you to get a sense of your students' computer-related experiences and objectives for the course. You may want to distribute this document during the first class meeting. Lecture Notes Each lesson has its own lecture plan that outlines main topics, and offers demonstrations and questions to get your students involved in the discussion. PowerPoint Presentations Each lesson has a PowerPoint presentation file that you can use as is, or customize as you wish.
Student Exercise Files Students need may need files to complete certain exercises. These files are available on the student lesson Web page. A copy of these files is included here. Also in this folder is the Student Filename Map, which outlines the files needed for each applicable exercise.
